You might say I'm a good person and I give to charities, and even go to Church on a regular basis. I do good things which will get me to Heaven. Ephesians 2:8,9 (NASB) For it is by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9) not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Also Matthew 7:21 (NASB) "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22) "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast our demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23) "And then I will declare to them, 'I never know you; Depart from me, you who practice lawlessness.'
Unless you have confessed your sins to him, asked forgiveness, and asked Him into your heart, you fit into the category of the above verses. Please come to Him right now, not later (because you will receive the penalty of eternal destruction if you don't). I have put a prayer of salvation in the upper right hand corner of this blog, please confess to him now. That decision will save your life (literally).
